What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time Pharmacy Technician - Service Team (Must reside in Utah) position at Cooperative Benefit Group?
We are only considering candidates that live in Utah at this time.
We are open to flexible scheduling for the right candidate(s). This position is traditionally full-time, however, we are also considering a part-time arrangement and may hire two part-time team members in place of one full-time role. We are currently recruiting for our 9:30 AM–6:00 PM or 10:30 AM–7:00 PM shift, which is traditionally Monday through Friday with a rotating weekend shift (occasional Saturdays would be required). Final schedules will be determined based on business needs and candidate availability.
Initial training is traditionally Monday-Friday 8:30 AM -5:00 PM for up to three weeks, but would be adjusted for this role depending on final shift scheduling arrangements.
Our Service Team is the primary contact for our members and their healthcare providers. As the core of our business, Service Team members are valued and respected. We strive to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge to assist and deliver exceptional service and education to each member. Member Services team members build strong, lasting relationships with members by understanding their needs and concerns. This team takes the lead in providing an enjoyable experience for every person who contacts CBG via our Service Center.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Educate members about their pharmacy benefits
- Use clinical knowledge to review requests for prior authorization
- Resolve issues related to eligibility and pharmacy claims payments
- Engage members as the first point of contact in getting the help they need to resolve issues
- Handle inbound and outbound phone calls to and from members, physicians and pharmacies while maintaining quality standards
- Contribute ideas to improve operational efficiency and member experience
- Overtime may be available during peak times.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years Pharm Tech experience OR 2 years Customer Service experience (with valid Pharmacy Tech license)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Active listening, conversational speaking skills, with a high degree of empathy
- Proficient in standard office programs (Microsoft Office, google docs, email, etc.)
