Business Development Manager

Description:

Join Cooper Equipment Rentals, a new division of Cooper Tacia General Contracting.  We are seeking a qualified and experienced sales representative to join our office in New Bern, NC. In this role, we are seeking a results-driven professional who will effectively manage a territory to maximize revenue growth and build client relationships.  

Key Responsibilities:

·         Creating and executing plans to achieve sales goals and expanding market share within designated sales territory

·         Cultivating strong working relationships with clients to drive sales and ensure customer satisfaction

·          Maintaining a thorough understanding of company products, services and pricing 

·         Identifying and qualifying new sales leads through CRM platforms and other tools

·         Educating customers on product offerings through formal presentations and personal training sessions

·         Other duties assigned as needed

Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience desired

·         3-5 years of sales experience

·         Knowledge of construction related equipment preferred or comparable industry experience with proven sales achievement 

·         Must possess strong negotiation skills and excellent customer service skills

·         Ability to work independently

·         Valid Driver’s License

·         Attention to detail with a strong safety mindset

·         Advanced computer skills 

·         Ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries

 

Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: 90,000 - 100,000
