Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the VDC Manager on projects assigned
- Review contract drawings and specifications for accuracy and completeness
- Review of coordination, shop, fabrication drawings received from subcontractors
- Coordinate systems (underground to roof) for constructability, code compliance and design intent
- Develop an understanding of how each system operates and integrates with others
- Diagnosing problems and generating solutions to difficult construction-related coordination issues
- Utilize clash detection software (e.g., Navisworks) during the coordination process
- Assist VDC Manager in leading, documenting and coordinating meetings
- Attend Project Meetings and provide updates as needed
- Maintain and organize coordination files within Procore
- Generate RFI’s from Coordination Meetings
- Maintain clear project communication with the construction team throughout the coordination process
- Visit project sites as needed to verify field conditions and support coordination efforts
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or similar
- Strong understanding of BIM/VDC platforms (Revit, Navisworks preferred).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
