Responsibilities
- Install new HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration units, and ventilation equipment according to schematics and HVAC design plans
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on existing systems to ensure efficient operation
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings to accurately assemble and install equipment
- Diagnose issues using tools such as ohmmeters, pressure gauges, and other diagnostic instruments; perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Perform plumbing connections and ensure proper refrigerant handling in compliance with safety standards
- Weld components as needed for secure fittings or custom modifications; utilize mechanical knowledge to repair or replace faulty parts
- Maintain detailed service records, installation logs, and maintenance reports for each project
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), with a strong understanding of HVAC design principles
- Hands-on experience with construction projects involving HVAC system installation and property maintenance
- Ability to read schematics accurately and work from technical blueprints or diagrams
- Familiarity with plumbing techniques
- Skilled in the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; capable of troubleshooting complex mechanical issues
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving
vehicles preferred - Welding skills and experience working with various mechanical tools are highly desirable
- Strong field service background with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
