About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Mechanical/Thermal Product Engineer to support the development and deployment of advanced liquid cooling systems for high-performance computing and data center applications.
This role combines approximately 50% product development and 50% customer-facing field support. You will work across the full product lifecycle while collaborating directly with high-tech customers. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in lab and field environments, including handling equipment up to 30–40 lbs.
Key Responsibilities
- Interface directly with high-tech customers to understand requirements and provide technical support
- Travel to customer sites and data centers for installation, integration, troubleshooting, and system commissioning
- Lead product development for liquid cooling systems (cold plates, CDUs, heat exchangers, system assemblies)
- Perform mechanical and thermal design, validation, and hands-on prototype testing
- Support product development through NPI, pilot builds, and production ramp
- Create engineering documentation (CAD models, drawings, BOMs, ECOs)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, suppliers, and internal teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Fluent in Mandarin and English is must
- Experience with liquid cooling, thermal systems, or high-power hardware preferred
- Proficiency in Creo, SolidWorks, or similar CAD tools
- Experience with NPI and product lifecycle development
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer-facing skills
- Ability to work in data center environments and handle equipment up to 30–40 lbs
Preferred
- Experience with CFD tools (FloEFD, Flotherm, Star-CCM , Ansys, etc.)
Salary : $80,000 - $150,000
