Position Summary
The Lease Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and managing long-term full service lease agreements for Medium & Heavy-duty commercial trucks. This role focuses on prospecting new business, maintaining strong client relationships, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored fleet solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow long-term truck leasing business within assigned territory or market segment.
- Identify, prospect, and secure new clients including logistics companies, manufacturing, distributors, and fleet operators.
- Conduct professional needs assessments to recommend appropriate medium & heavy-duty truck leasing solutions.
- Prepare and present lease proposals, pricing models, and contract terms.
- Negotiate agreements and close lease contracts.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless vehicle delivery and service support.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, lease regulations, and credit requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline reporting in CRM systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- 5 years of experience in commercial vehicle sales, fleet leasing, or B2B sales.
- Strong knowledge of medium & heavy-duty trucks and fleet management solutions.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of lease structures and pricing models.
- Ability to work independently and manage a large territory.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
