A well-established public sector consulting and technology firm is seeking a senior growth leader to help expand its presence across the Department of War, with a particular focus on readiness, sustainment, logistics, and mission support environments.

What You’ll Do
- Identify, qualify, and mature strategic defense opportunities aligned to the firm’s growth priorities
- Build and manage a high-probability pipeline of pursuits across readiness, sustainment, logistics, operational support, and related mission areas
- Develop and deepen relationships with defense decision-makers, program offices, acquisition stakeholders, and key industry partners
- Help shape opportunities early by influencing requirements, acquisition approaches, teaming strategies, and solution positioning
- Partner with internal solution, delivery, and leadership teams to develop differentiated offerings aligned to client mission needs
- Lead position-to-win efforts including market analysis, competitive assessment, pursuit strategy, and teaming approach
- Monitor defense priorities, acquisition trends, and budget signals to inform growth strategy
- Maintain strong client engagement throughout the lifecycle, helping identify follow-on and expansion opportunities
- Serve as a trusted advisor and market-facing leader in the defense community
What We’re Looking For
- 10 years of experience in business development, capture, growth, or strategic account leadership within the federal defense market
- Strong experience supporting or selling into military and defense organizations
- Demonstrated success identifying, shaping, and winning large, complex pursuits
- Credible understanding of defense mission environments tied to readiness, sustainment, logistics, lifecycle support, mission operations, or operational modernization
- Experience working with program offices, acquisition stakeholders, and major defense industry teaming partners
- Ability to connect market insight, customer engagement, and internal solutioning into executable growth strategy
- Strong communication, executive presence, and relationship-building skills
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree is a plus
- U.S. citizenship required
