This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Accountant, located in Hialeah, FL, with opportunities to work from home on occasion. The Senior Accountant will oversee financial operations, prepare financial reports, manage budget forecasts, and ensure compliance with accounting regulations. This role incorporates managing accounts payable and receivable, performing reconciliations, preparing payroll, and assisting with audits and tax filings. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will develop and implement financial policies, providing data-driven insights to optimize financial performance and drive business growth.
- Strong foundational skills in Financial Reporting, Budgeting, and General Ledger Accounting
- Proficiency in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Bank Reconciliation
- Familiarity with Payroll Administration and Tax Preparation processes
- Experience with Financial Analysis and Strategic Planning
- Knowledge of accounting software and tools; Service Titan experience is a plus
- Understanding of compliance standards and financial regulations relevant to the HVAC, plumbing, and electrical industries
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is highly preferred
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a hybrid work environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights to non-financial stakeholders
