A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FULL-CHARGE BOOKKEEPER - ACCOUNTANT
As a Full-Charge Bookkeeper - Accountant, you maximize client delight by completing your tasks accurately, efficiently, and on time. You are friendly and professional as you interact with your clients, and you enjoy maintaining effective working relationships with them. With a commitment to quality, you complete your tasks and maintain client files in accordance with company policies and procedures.
We value your unique perspective and welcome your recommendations in areas where we can provide additional services or tools to drive client value and efficiency. You are a true team player and enjoy participating in meetings. Always looking for ways to improve, you are open to feedback from your manager. One of your top priorities is to stay within the identified budget, and you proactively communicate with your manager if anything prevents you from doing so. You get a sense of personal satisfaction in delighting clients and helping small businesses succeed!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A FULL-CHARGE BOOKKEEPER - ACCOUNTANT
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
- 5 years of demonstrated ability to provide detailed bookkeeping support, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, closing books on a monthly basis, and preparing financial reporting and analysis for small businesses
- 3 years of transactional accounting experience using QuickBooks Online for a professional organization
- Capacity to work 40 hours a week during daytime business hours
- Have a dedicated office space free from distraction, a computer, headphones, a microphone, and a reliable, high-speed internet connection.
- Willingness and capacity to consistently and accurately follow established policies and procedures
- Commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality while working with client data
- Strong consideration will be given to candidates who have experience working with companies in the trades, in multi-client environments, and in working with QuickBooks Online
