Plant Maintenance Technician -- Pumps and Vacuum Systems

What You Will Do Own preventative maintenance: lubrication, filter changes, cleaning, inspections, and documentation.Keep building systems reliable: HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, electrical panels, and fire safety equipment.Diagnose and repair production equipment and vacuum systems to sustain throughput and reduce downtime.Troubleshoot by symptoms, sounds, and operational data; identify root causes and apply durable fixes.Disassemble and reassemble machines as needed; replace bearings, belts, gears, and seals; perform precision alignments.Service pneumatic and basic electrical systems when required.Handle facility maintenance tasks: address plumbing, electrical, HVAC malfunctions and minor building repairs such as leaks, bulb replacements, minor electrical issues, drywall patches, and simple carpentry.Respond quickly to maintenance work orders and close them out with clear notes.Read and apply technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to plan and execute repairs. Must-Have Mechanical background in repairing pumps and various machinery. Skills and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent, with proven experience as a manufacturing mechanic.Mechanical aptitude and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical documentation.Comfort with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.Foundational knowledge of electrical, vacuum, and pneumatic systems.Team-oriented, yet able to work independently and prioritize effectively.Mechanical troubleshooting, electrical repair, relay testing, pneumatics troubleshooting, and machine safety inspections.
