This role is based in a manufacturing environment and routinely involves the use of paint equipment. You may occasionally encounter loud noise, fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. Work may involve chemicals with potential hazardous exposure as outlined on accessible Safety Data Sheets, and exposure to significant temperature changes during an eight-hour shift.

A Day in the Life
- Prepare steel parts for coating and stage them for production.
- Review specifications, color codes, mixing charts, and verbal/written instructions before every job.
- Set up and operate coating equipment, including spray guns, hoppers, and booth collection systems.
- Monitor gauges and observe equipment in operation to catch defects early.
- Adjust paint flow and verify coating quality with thorough visual inspections.
- Meet efficiency targets while aligning output with quality standards and on-time order goals.
- Follow safety procedures at all times to maintain a safe work environment.
- Load and unload parts onto fixtures as needed.
- Clean and maintain equipment to keep everything in peak condition.
- Use, store, and dispose of paint supplies and waste properly.
- Strong background in industrial painting and wet spray application.
- Knowledge of painting equipment mechanics and basic repair.
- Ability to perform each essential duty to standard.
- Keen attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced setting and independently without daily supervision.
- Commitment to a safe, organized, and clean workspace.
