Resonant Sciences has an immediate opening for an Aerospace Coatings Technician to join our Dayton, Ohio team to support design, development, and production of aerospace structures including radomes and antennas. The position provides an opportunity to join an elite team whose primary mission is to support our Nation's War Fighters. The candidate for this position must be a self-starter who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment without the need for regular, direct oversight.

We are seeking an Aerospace Coatings Technician to work with engineers to build and test state-of-the-art aerospace structures and equipment.

Duties And Responsibilities
We are seeking an Aerospace Coatings Technician to work with engineers to build and test state-of-the-art aerospace structures and equipment.
The selected candidate will have responsibility for the following areas:
- Work independently from design prints, drawings, documents, written work instructions and verbal instructions.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Work with power tools, hand tools and painting equipment.
- Work with calipers, micrometers, scales, and other devices to verify conformance to design requirements.
- Perform tasks associated with applying coatings to aerospace quality parts including masking, surface preparation, body work, applying surfacing compounds, priming, and painting.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Ability to adapt and function well in a dynamic work environment.
- Work efficiently in an environment without the need for regular, direct oversight.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
- High school diploma.
- Minimum five (5) years of automotive or aerospace painting experience/training.
- Minimum ten (10) years of automotive or aerospace painting experience.
- Familiar with materials and processes used to manufacture aerospace composite structures.
- Experience painting radomes.
- Experience applying rain erosion coatings.
- Experience applying radar-absorbent material (RAM) coatings.
- U.S. Citizenship required. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance required. Active clearance preferred.
