Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead complex mechanical system designs, mentor teams, and ensure quality for switchboards and automation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design of mechanical components for UL-891 switchboards, motor and drive controls, and other power distribution systems using AutoCAD Inventor and various other tools.
- Conduct structural and thermal analyses.
- Support fabrication, manufacturing, and testing teams.
- Ensure compliance with UL-891 and ASME standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and maintain documentation.
- Work flexible hours to meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering; master’s preferred.
- 7 years of experience, with 3 years in a lead role.
- Experience in industrial product development and design.
- Proficiency in Inventor and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of UL-891 and ASME standards.
- Strong analytical and mentoring skills.
- Preferred: Lean Six Sigma Certification, PE license, Project Management Experience
Salary : $130,000 - $140,000
