Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Quality Supervisor, this position is responsible for implementing techniques, processes, and procedures at the plant level to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards. Responsible for adhering to Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices, to ensure the production of safe quality products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
Education and Skills
- High school diploma or GED, and 2 years work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Read, write, speak, and comprehend English
- Comprehend basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, weights and measures, and efficient use of a calculator
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Possess mechanical aptitude with the ability to assemble, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to communicate both written and orally within the organization
- Ability to give positive suggestions to improve operations in the work center
- Team Oriented - being helpful, respectful, approachable, building strong working relationships and a positive work environment, is responsible, honest, loyal, interacting with others tactfully, resolving conflicts appropriately, and adapting to change

Physical Demands
- Vision, hearing, and speaking to meet performance standards
- Climb ladder up to 10 feet off the ground using safety equipment provided
- Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods, reach, push, pull, lift, climb, stoop, squat, and use manual dexterity to work with the following tools: blending machines, scales, pallet jacks, drum dollies, mops, brooms, portable stairs, hoses, forklifts etc.
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds on a frequent basis and move heavier weights using proper equipment and/or team lifting techniques
Work Environment
Employees must be able to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment that may include exposure to odors, dust, moderate noise levels, and fluctuations in temperature and ventilation. Work environment may involve exposure to inclement weather. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times, which may include but is not limited to: safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, gloves, hairnets, uniforms, and face shields, as required by specific job duties and safety protocols.
