Summary / Primary Role:
The Receiving Specialist II verifies and maintains records on incoming shipments. Duties include assembling and
stamping merchandise or material; receiving and unpacking, verifying, and recording incoming merchandise or material;
and arranging for transportation of products.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
(Management may amend or assign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time)
- Examine content and compare with the records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of
incoming or outgoing shipment.
- Receive Material in and enter information in Customer's system such as SAP or WhiBoard.
- Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders to route material.
- Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies for reporting,
accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.
- Check product for damages/Issues/take pictures of damaged product
- Receive material in the P21 system
- Print Labels and relabel (if applicable)
- Assist with other areas in the department as needed
- Assist Receiving Specialist I with receiving product in when needed
- ALL OTHER DUTIES AND PROJECTS AS ASSIGNED.
Qualifications and Key Skills:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- No related work experience required
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) knowledge is preferred
- Food Safety and Defense / HAACP knowledge is preferred
- Knowledge and ability to work with bar code scanner is preferred
Work Environment:
This position operates in a warehouse/production environment with exposure to airborne particles such as dust, shavings,
odor and fumes, temperature and noise fluctuations, along with varying vibrations levels. This role routinely uses bar code
readers, scanning devices, and computer with label-making software and supply chain software.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to effectively communicate with others via
phone. The employee must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language. Must have ability for sight, depth
and peripheral vision. Must have ability to perceive the nature of sound at normal speaking levels, with correction, receive
detailed information thru oral communication, hear movement and be aware of moving equipment in surroundings. The
employee must frequently use hands and fingers to grasp, pick, pinch. The employee uses equipment such as pallet jack.
The employee is frequently required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl and crouch on occasion throughout the day.
This position requires the ability to push, pull, lift and carry up to 50 lbs. In the course of duties the employee may also
need to position oneself to bend, crawl, crouch, kneel, climb and balance.
