Job Description: Senior EPC Project Manager – Utility Scale Solar
Location: Illinois (Travel as needed)
Compensation: $145K–$175K
Start Date: Immediate
Overview:
We are looking for a Senior EPC Project Manager to oversee multiple utility-scale solar projects and manage a team of EPC Project Managers. This role requires 5 years of experience in EPC-level solar project management and a proven ability to lead large, complex projects from inception to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic oversight for multiple EPC solar projects.
- Mentor and manage EPC Project Managers and supporting staff.
- Coordinate design, permitting, procurement, construction, and closeout phases.
- Ensure budget adherence, cost forecasting, and financial health reporting.
- Oversee procurement and subcontracting, ensuring timely execution and mobilization.
- Maintain project schedules, production tracking, and reporting to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with contract documents and manage formal notices/change orders.
- Act as primary point of contact for client communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Drive continuous improvement in QA/QC, safety, and project delivery performance.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of EPC-level solar project management experience.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Deep understanding of utility-scale solar construction and EPC processes.
- Ability to travel as needed; open to relocation.
- PMP certification preferred; OSHA 30 a plus.
- Familiarity with major EPC contractors and renewable energy best practices.
Salary : $145,000 - $175,000
