Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will oversee overnight operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and deliver outstanding guest services during the night shift. Your proactive approach will help maintain our high standards of hospitality and guest satisfaction while managing front desk functions and hotel procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform nightly audit procedures to reconcile daily financial transactions using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms.
- Greet guests arriving during the night shift with warmth and professionalism, providing excellent customer service through multi-line phone systems and front desk interactions.
- Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and modifications efficiently while maintaining accurate records.
- Manage hotel emergency procedures promptly and effectively to ensure guest safety and security.
- Respond to guest inquiries, resolve issues with customer service problem-solving skills, and communicate clearly via phone etiquette and client communication channels.
- Conduct routine safety inspections of the property, including guest rooms and public areas, adhering to hotel safety standards.
- Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit documentation to ensure seamless communication with daytime staff.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA or similar property management systems (PMS).
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus for effective guest communication across diverse populations.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, guest relations, and hotel management best practices is essential.
- Experience working with multi-line phone systems, resort environments, or property management software enhances your candidacy.
