Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site position based in Pine Brook, NJ for an Accounting Assistant. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the finance and accounting department. Tasks include assisting with financial statement preparation, maintaining accurate bookkeeping records, managing accounting software entries, and supporting overall financial operations. The role will require collaboration with team members and other departments to ensure the accuracy of financial records and compliance with internal policies.
Qualifications
- Experience with Financial Statements and knowledge of basic Accounting principles
- Proficiency in Accounting Software and bookkeeping practices
- Understanding of Finance and general accounting processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical data entry
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work on-site in Pine Brook, NJ , and collaborate with a team
- Prior experience in a similar role or within the construction/plumbing industry is a plus
