Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, managing stock levels, and ensuring efficient flow of materials or products. The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory counts through regular cycle counts and audits
- Track, organize, and label inventory in accordance with company procedures
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, purchasing, and operations teams to ensure stock availability
- Prepare inventory reports and assist with forecasting needs
- Ensure inventory storage areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols
- Use inventory management software or tools to log and track product movements
- Support shipping, receiving, and general warehouse tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in inventory management is a plus
- Prior experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or logistics preferred
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Basic computer skills; familiarity with inventory software (e.g., ERP, WMS) preferred
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
