- Assessment and Reassessment: Systematically evaluates patients' health needs across various age groups and conditions, involving patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Nursing Diagnosis and Outcomes: Analyzes assessments to determine diagnoses and expected outcomes with team involvement.
- Implementation and Coordination of Care: Delivers evidence-based nursing interventions to meet patient needs, adhering to policies and regulations.
- Evaluation: Uses critical thinking to assess patient outcomes, recognize problems, and make informed decisions.
- Professional Practice and Leadership: Serves as a department leader in the absence of the Nurse Manager and promotes bedside handoffs during shift changes.
- Additional Requirements: Maintains ACLS certification and provides professional, compassionate care.
- Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; BSN or MSN preferred.
- One year of RN experience preferred (can be met through equivalent education and experience).
- Current Oklahoma RN license, with BLS and ACLS certifications required, maintained throughout employment.
- Less experienced RNs must complete a Nurse Residency Program.
