- Assisting surgeons during procedures by managing tissues, retraction, suctioning, and irrigation.
- Achieving hemostasis and aiding in wound closure and dressing applications.
- Applying evidence-based practices tailored to patient age and clinical needs.
- Maintaining safety, performing additional duties as assigned.
- Completion of an RNFA program meeting AORN standards or equivalent.
- At least two years of RN experience in advanced surgical specialties.
- Valid RN license (state-specific or compact license).
- Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) credential preferred.
- Frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and reaching.
- Proficiency in communication, vision, hearing, and smell.
- Current BLS certification.
