Summary
Our client, a global leader in advanced autonomous and robotic solutions and creator of the industry's most advanced unmanned command and control solution for vehicle operations, is seeking a Test Operations Research Analyst – Level 3. The Test Operations Research Analyst III designs and applies advanced statistical and analytical methods to optimize testing and validation of complex robotic and autonomous systems. This role translates large-scale test data into actionable insights that improve system performance, reliability, and readiness.
- Design and execute statistically sound test plans, experiments, and data collection strategies.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, performance metrics, and failure modes.
- Define and track key system KPIs (e.g., autonomy performance, reliability metrics).
- Develop and manage end-to-end data collection frameworks across hardware, software, and integrated systems.
- Support HIL/SIL and simulation environments for realistic system validation.
- Collaborate with engineering and test teams to validate system performance and resolve issues.
- Perform hands-on testing and debugging across embedded, mechanical, electrical, and software systems.
- Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to improve system design and reliability.
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- 7–10 years of experience in data analysis, operations research, or test engineering for complex systems.
- Strong expertise in statistical analysis, experimental design, and data modeling.
- Proficiency in Python, C , MATLAB, or similar tools.
- Experience working with large datasets and translating analysis into engineering insights.
- Solid understanding of systems engineering and product development lifecycles.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in a quantitative field.
- Experience with robotics or autonomous systems.
- Familiarity with ROS/ROS2, HIL/SIL, and simulation environments.
- Knowledge of embedded systems and communication protocols (CAN, I2C, SPI).
