Job Description:
Fortune 500 client is looking to add a strong C#/.Net Core Engineer
Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core
• Build backend services supporting application features such as:
  • User entitlements and permissions
  • Metadata and configuration
  • Application availability and settings
• Collaborate with frontend and other backend teams to integrate secure APIs
• Implement and consume authentication and authorization using industry‐standard practices (OAuth2 / OpenID Connect, claims‐based authorization)
• Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability through:
  • Clean architecture principles
  • Unit and integration testing
  • Code reviews and refactoring
• Debug and resolve issues, including performance and reliability concerns
• Contribute to technical design discussions and documentation
• Work independently on backend features while collaborating within a cross‐functional team

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 3–5 years of professional experience in backend software development
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET (.NET Core / .NET 6 )
• Solid experience building ASP.NET Core APIs
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful interfaces (OpenAPI/Swagger)
• Working knowledge of relational databases, including:
  • Schema design
  • Indexes and joins
  • Basic query optimization
• Hands‐on experience with an ORM such as Dapper or similar
• Practical understanding of:
  • Authentication and authorization concepts
  • Secure API development
  • Performance considerations in backend systems
• Experience with unit and integration testing
• Ability to troubleshoot and support production systems

• Familiarity with Azure services, such as:
  • App Service
  • Application Insights
• Experience integrating backend services with:
  • Front‐end frameworks
  • CI/CD pipelines
• Awareness of OAuth2 / OpenID Connect flows as a backend service consumer

• Strong problem‐solving and analytical abilities
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating across teams
• Willingness to contribute ideas and participate in design discussions
