Position Overview
- We are seeking a Quality Assurance Lead with proven leadership experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience leading testing teams, shaping testing strategy, and resolving complex testing challenges.
Required Experience and Skills
- Leadership Experience - Required
- Strong QA Lead experience; this is not an individual-contributor-only role.
- Ability to clearly explain previous leadership responsibilities, including team oversight, mentoring, task delegation, and issue resolution.
- Experience leading a team comparable to the current group of four testers within a broader project team of approximately 10–12 members based in Pittsburgh.
Testing Expertise
- Strong background in both manual and automation testing; both are equally important.
- Extensive experience with Selenium and building or maintaining automation frameworks.
- Experience with regulatory or compliance testing is highly preferred.
- Ability to identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and provide practical solutions.
- Agile and Reporting
- Strong experience with Jira and Scrum/Agile methodologies.
- Comfort working in an environment where all project work and tracking are managed through Jira.
- Ability to create and maintain test reports, test metrics, and stakeholder status updates.
