Bioinformatics Scientist – Antibody Discovery
A growing global veterinary pharma organisation is seeking a Bioinformatics Scientist to support antibody discovery programmes across companion animals (dogs, cats, horses).
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse NGS and genomic datasets to support antibody discovery and target validation
- Work with antibody repertoire data (CDRs, frameworks, VH/VL)
- Apply protein modelling and in silico antibody engineering (e.g. optimisation, liability assessment)
- Support identification of genetic variation impacting therapeutic targets
- Contribute to development of internal antibody data tools / databases
- Collaborate closely with discovery biology and R&D teams
Key Requirements
- Experience working with therapeutic antibodies (essential)
- Experience with NGS data, ideally in an antibody/repertoire context
- Understanding of antibody structure (CDRs, frameworks)
- Background in bioinformatics / computational biology / structural biology
- Familiarity with protein modelling tools (e.g. Rosetta, MOE or similar)
