A growing medical device company is establishing a new assembly and repair site in the US and is looking for a Site Manager to lead the setup and ongoing operations.
This is a high-impact role with full ownership of site performance, team leadership, and operational delivery from day one.
The Opportunity
- Lead the setup and launch of a new US site (assembly repair operations)
- Take full responsibility for day-to-day operations, KPIs, and output
- Build, hire, and develop a high-performing operational team
- Act as the key link between US operations and global leadership
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee production, repair, inventory, and logistics operations
- Ensure output targets and quality standards are consistently met
- Implement and maintain SOPs and operational processes
- Manage staffing, onboarding, training, and performance
- Coordinate with international teams on production planning and reporting
- Maintain site infrastructure, vendor relationships, and compliance (EHS)
Profile
- 5 years’ experience in operations/site management within an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Strong background in production, logistics, or assembly operations
- Proven experience leading teams (including managers)
- Hands-on, solutions-oriented, and comfortable in a build/scale environment
- Experience running or owning an independent site or branch is highly desirable
