Qualifications
- BS/MS in computer science, bioinformatics, or related field
- 1 year(s) experience analyzing next-generation sequencing data
- Recent coding experience with a scripting language such as Ruby or Python
- Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, RESTful webservices, Haml, HTML, and Apache is a plus
- Experience in designing and implementing SQL (Oracle, MySQL) and noSQL (mongoDB) databases
- Experience with multiple operating systems, including Linux
- Experience with software deployment in cloud highly desirable, especially Amazon AWS experience
- Strong communicator with ability to maintain open communication with internal employees, managers and customers as needed
- Start-up experience is a plus
