Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Construction Estimator, located in Brooklyn, NY. The Construction Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, performing quantity take-offs from project drawings, and managing project budgets. The role requires consistent collaboration with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure the accuracy of estimates, cost tracking, and adherence to project timelines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Construction Estimating, Quantity Take-offs, and Budgeting
- Strong skills in Cost Management
- Excellent Communication skills for effective collaboration with multiple stakeholders
- Experience with estimating software and proficiency in MS Office tools
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in commercial or residential construction projects is an advantage
- Must have extensive experience estimating federal, state and/or city facilities. Cost Range $30mm-$150mm.
- 10 years minimum experience required.
