Job Description:
We are currently seeking a construction laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and be familiar with a wide range of tasks related to labor work on job sites.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of construction sites before the start of a project.
- Perform various physical tasks, including but not limited to digging, lifting, carrying, demoing, and operating basic hand and power tools.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Collaborate with other team members, including contractors, supervisors, and tradespeople, to complete projects efficiently and according to specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards of quality and productivity.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress, issues, and any required adjustments.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Laborer in the construction industry.
- Must have drywall, spackling, and sanding experience.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of basic construction tools and equipment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have Transportation
- Valid Driver's license, registration and insurance.
