Constellation Search Group is looking for a Senior Accountant for a full-time position. The Senior Accountant will serve as a team leader within the finance department, ensuring the creation of accurate and timely financial records. They will handle various accounting tasks including cost accounting, production transaction review, and gross margin analysis. Additionally, they will be involved in month-end and year-end close processes, inventory accounting, and external audit preparation.

Responsibilities:
- Perform cost accounting, production transaction review, and gross margin analysis.
- Prepare and post journal entries including accruals, reclasses, and adjustments.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including account analysis, reconciliations, and variance explanations.
- Manage inventory accounting with monthly recalculations and annual physical inventory counts.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and ad hoc reports.
- Provide AP/AR coverage during PTO and assist with account and entry coding.
- Research and resolve discrepancies affecting the general ledger.
- Assist in cash control activities such as replenishments, safe counts, and petty cash audits.
- Lead preparation of documentation for external audits.
- Support ERP upgrades and automation initiatives such as Power BI and D365 workflows.
- Maintain documentation of current position procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP software, preferably Microsoft D365.
- Thorough understanding of accounting theories, practices, regulations, and financial concepts.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, both internally and externally.
- CPA/CMA and experience with D365 & Power BI are a plus.
