Role Overview
As the Head of Retention, you will lead the retention and lifecycle marketing strategy across a portfolio of high-growth CPG brands. You will be responsible for the full retention roadmap, from designing high-level campaign calendars to architecting complex subscription flows that maximize customer lifetime value. This is a high-impact leadership role that requires deep technical mastery of Klaviyo and extensive experience with subscription infrastructure like Skio and Recharge. You will act as the primary strategic partner for brand leads, translating raw cohort data into actionable growth strategies and ensuring that retention remains a primary driver of enterprise value.
What You’ll Do
- Retention Strategy: Lead the overarching lifecycle roadmap and plan high-volume Klaviyo campaign calendars across multiple categories.
- Advanced Lifecycle Flows: Architect and optimize technical Klaviyo flows including welcome sequences, sophisticated cancel prevention, and automated win-back strategies.
- Subscription Incentives: Own the setup and optimization of subscription apps like Skio and Recharge to reduce churn and extend subscriber duration through strategic offers.
- Data Analysis: Execute deep-dive cohort analysis to identify specific churn drivers and high-value retention opportunities.
- Strategic Leadership: Act as the lead for all retention-related discussions, managing multiple accounts and communicating performance results directly to stakeholders.
- Ecosystem Integration: Manage relationships with key app partners and stay at the forefront of the retention tech stack to maintain a competitive edge.
