Quality (QA) Manager Consolidated Packaging Group - Cincinnati, OH $50,000 - $65,000 a year We are looking for a reliable Manager of Quality Assurance to ensure that all external and internal requirements are met before our product reaches our customers. CPG is a flexo-packaging manufacturer, certified by SQF. You will be responsible for inspecting procedures and outputs and identifying mistakes or non-conformity issues. An excellent Quality Assurance Manager has eyes like a hawk and solid experience in quality control. The ideal candidate is a reliable and competent professional whose approval will be necessary for the continuation of a business life cycle. Additionally, the manager will be responsible for the QA team, which consists of 9 QA techs, helping support production reach our quality standard. The goal is to assure the high quality of our operations and services, aiming to the long-term success of our business. Responsibilities Review current standards and policies Monitor all operations that affect quality Assure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final output Supervise and guide a team of quality inspectors and technicians Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data Report all malfunctions to production executives to ensure immediate action Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentation Devise procedures to inspect and report quality issues Apprise customers’ requirements and make sure they are satisfied Ensure all legal standards are met Report to corporate on trends Communicate with external quality assurance officers during on-site inspections Skills Prior experience in Packaging, Lamination or Slitting preferred Proven experience as a quality assurance manager or relevant role Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards Great attention to detail and a results driven approach Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods Reliable and Trustworthy Excellent organizational and leadership abilities Interpretation of SQF requirements Outstanding communication skills SQF Edition 9 application skills Good knowledge of MS Office and databases Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
