Laminating Supervisor - Night Shift

Job Type: Full-time - Night Shift 6pm - 7am (Sunday - Thursday)

Position Overview:

Consolidated Packaging Group is seeking a motivated, hands-on Laminating Supervisor to lead our night shift production team. This role is responsible for overseeing daily laminating operations, ensuring production targets are met, maintaining quality and safety standards, and supporting employee performance across the department. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can effectively troubleshoot issues, drive productivity, and create a positive, accountable work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate night shift staffing to ensure production schedules and operational goals are achieved.
• Supervise and support machine operators while serving as a hands-on resource on the production floor.
• Ensure all products are manufactured according to customer specifications, quality standards, and production requirements.
• Monitor employee attendance, productivity, and performance throughout the shift.
• Troubleshoot equipment, production, and workflow issues to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.
• Communicate production updates, equipment concerns, staffing issues, and operational challenges to management.
• Review job orders, specifications, samples, and material requirements prior to production runs to ensure accurate setup and execution.
• Provide training, coaching, and guidance to team members to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Prepare the department for upcoming production runs and ensure smooth shift-to-shift transitions.
• Verify the accuracy of production documentation, scanning activities, labeling, and reporting.
• Utilize production systems and reporting tools to monitor performance and maintain accurate records.
• Enforce company policies, safety procedures, GMP requirements, and quality standards at all times.
• Support Product Safety Management System initiatives and ensure compliance with all applicable work instructions and operating procedures.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Bilingual: English and Spanish (required)

Qualifications:

• Previous supervisory or team lead experience in a manufacturing, packaging, converting, printing, or laminating environment preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
