What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bilingual IT Support (Spanish) position at Conscious Staffing, Inc.?
The IT Technician-hardware is responsible for working directly with the site's end users to support hardware computer, software, network, mobile phone, tablet, time clock, and anything else related to hardware. Answer questions or solve customer computer problems in person or by telephone, also install network cable. Set up workstations, computers, and any necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers, etc.) Checks computer hardware (HDD, mouse, keyboards, etc.) to ensure functionality, install and configure the appropriate software and features according to specifications. Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance. Periodically do preventive maintenance of hardware.
Requirements:
- Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
- Keep systems up to date through operating systems upgrades.
- Place network cables in the different areas that are required.
- Provide helpdesk support for network issues.
- Provide technical support either by phone or site visits as needed
- Respond to IT issues, hardware maintenance, software, networking, etc.
- Evaluate connectivity issues, equipment, and software.
- Modify configurations, utilities, software, etc.
- Set up equipment for new users.
Positions Requirements
- 1 year plus experience
- Must be willing to travel
- High School Diploma
- In depth knowledge of windows operating system
- Technical documentation skills
- Organizational and interpersonal skill
Preferred Requirements
- Bilingual -Spanish
- Certification or training in hardware design and development or Associate degree in Computer Science or relevant disciplines is a plus
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 10AM-6PM (Saturday's as needed)
