What you’ll be doing:
- Lead structural engineering projects through all phases of design and construction
- Oversee production of drawings, calculations, and specifications
- Coordinate with architects and multidisciplinary design teams
- Manage project scope, schedule, and deliverables
- Perform and review seismic and lateral system design (braced frames, moment frames, shear walls)
- Serve as primary client contact and maintain strong relationships
- Support construction administration, RFIs, and site coordination
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- PE license required (SE preferred)
- 7 years of structural engineering experience
- 2 years of project leadership or management experience preferred
- Strong background in seismic design and lateral systems
- Proficiency in ETABS, RISA, RAM, Enercalc, and Revit
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Compensation & Benefits
- $130,000 – $175,000 base salary, depending on experience
