Looking for candidates who reside in the Manatee County area (Bradenton, Sarasota, etc)
Who You Are
- You have 5 years of estimating experience in commercial construction-A MUST
- Strong understanding of new Commercial building construction and renovations.
- Proficiency in preparing schematic and design development budgets.
- You’re highly detail-oriented with a knack for numbers and a proactive attitude.
- You’re familiar with construction processes, cost databases, and project management software
- Procore is a plus
What You’ll Do
- Estimate Costs: Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and site conditions.
- Collaborate: Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure accurate pricing and project feasibility.
- Evaluate Proposals: Review bids and proposals to help make informed decisions and ensure competitiveness.
- Track Changes: Adjust estimates as needed based on project scope or changes and maintain clear, up-to-date records.
- Be the Expert: Provide guidance on cost-effective solutions, helping to manage project budgets from start to finish.
