Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the design, analysis, and execution of structural engineering projects.
- Lead teams of engineers, providing mentorship and technical guidance.
- Act as a primary client liaison, ensuring projects meet design, budget, and timeline expectations.
- Support or lead business development efforts to expand the firm’s presence in South Florida.
- Ensure quality control, review calculations and drawings, and conduct field inspections.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative structural solutions.
Qualifications:
- Associate Level: 10 years of structural engineering experience with a PE license (Florida preferred).
- Principal Level: 15 years of experience, including proven success in business development and team leadership.
- Experience in commercial, residential, healthcare, and institutional projects.
- Expertise in structural design and analysis, including steel, concrete, wood, and masonry.
- Proficiency in structural design software (ETABS, RAM, RISA, Revit).
- Strong knowledge of Florida building codes (IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
