Bilingual HR Generalist

Salary: $60,000 – $65,000

Work Schedule: Hybrid (minimum 2 days onsite in Lisle, IL)

Position Summary

The HR Generalist is a client-facing role within CGO’s OneSource division, serving as a primary HR contact and trusted advisor to assigned client organizations. This highly visible position supports day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and onboarding while delivering exceptional service and guidance to clients.


The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, detail-oriented problem solver, and collaborative HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, consultative environment.



Essential Functions

Client-Facing HR Support

  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for assigned client companies
  • Build trusted relationships with clients by providing timely, accurate, and compliant HR guidance
  • Advise clients on employment practices, policies, and HR best practices
  • Respond to requests for employee information from client leadership, service providers, agencies, and third parties



Onboarding, Benefits & Leave Administration

  • Conduct new-hire onboarding meetings via video conferencing and screen sharing
  • Process benefit enrollments, life events, and terminations; administer COBRA
  • Administer leaves of absence, including FMLA, Workers’ Compensation, and Short-Term Disability
  • Maintain accurate employee records related to benefits, payroll, and employment status



HR Operations & Compliance

  • Create, update, and interpret employment policies and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and internal procedures
  • Maintain employee files, payroll records, benefits data, and other HR documentation
  • Prepare memos, forms, and HR documents to support both internal and client needs



Administrative & Operational Support

  • Provide administrative support including document management, spreadsheet updates, data verification, filing, and record maintenance
  • Support internal HR initiatives and assist with special projects as needed



Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on Human Resources experience in a fast-paced, employee-relations-focused environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
  • Strong working knowledge of HR operations, benefits administration, and compliance
  • Ability to work onsite a minimum of two days per week in Lisle, IL
  • HR Certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) required; if not currently certified, certification must be obtained within one year of employment



Additional Benefits

  • Salary range of: $60k-$65k pr/yr
  • Hybrid work schedule - 2 days a week at our Lisle, IL office
  • Unlimited Paid Time Off
  • Comprehensive medical benefits effective 1st of month after hire date
  • 401k with employer match effective 90 days after hire date
