Your Challenge
It’s 7:30 a.m. You open QAD and triage requisitions. Which become purchase orders today? You convert them, route for approval, and send to suppliers. Confirmations arrive—do the prices, quantities, and dates align? You update PO trackers and flag exceptions. A supplier slips a shipment: you notify planners and the Materials Manager and adjust the plan. An invoice doesn’t match? You dive into Medius to resolve the discrepancy. By afternoon, you’ve completed vendor setup requests, refreshed supplier pricing, and compiled a crisp report for the next supply chain meeting. That’s impact.
What You’ll Do
- Own PO workflow in QAD: convert requisitions, secure approvals, and dispatch orders to suppliers.
- Track open POs and deliveries; identify late shipments; communicate updates to planners and the Materials Manager.
- Process supplier confirmations; validate pricing, quantities, and delivery dates; keep PO status tools current.
- Maintain purchasing records and the procure-to-pay stream by resolving invoice mismatches in Medius and updating supplier pricing.
- Support supplier administration: vendor setup requests, pricing updates, and report preparation for supply chain meetings.
Who You Are
- HS Diploma or GED required; AS degree preferred
- Experience in purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain management
- Strength in commodity purchasing and sourcing/procurement practices
- Comfortable with QAD (ERP) and Medius (P2P) in a fast-paced environment
- Organized, detail-focused, and clear in supplier and stakeholder communication

- Temporary position supporting purchasing in Granville while a new PPS Purchasing Department is implemented
- Schedule: M–F, 1st Shift, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. (30-minute lunch)
