A day in this role
You arrive to a bright, clean, team-centered production floor. After a quick handoff with the prior operator, you review the work instructions and job travelers for the next run. You load reels and trays, confirm the program on the automated equipment, and begin the production cycle. As boards move through, you keep a close eye on quality, step in for hand placement of small components when needed, and log any adjustments. A quick round of preventive cleaning keeps everything running smoothly. When an alert pops, you handle basic troubleshooting and escalate issues as appropriate. Throughout the day, you contribute to continuous improvement ideas, maintain an organized, ESD-safe workspace, and help your team hit targets.
