Quality Inspector – 2nd Shift
Job Type: Temp-to-Perm
Location: Weymouth, MA – 100% Onsite
Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday–Friday
Pay Rate: $19–$24/hr. (Includes shift differential)

Position Overview
We are seeking a Quality Inspector to perform inspection and testing throughout the manufacturing process. This position will support both incoming inspection and final product inspection, ensuring components, assemblies, and finished products meet established quality standards and specifications.
The ideal candidate will have experience with mechanical and/or electrical inspection, be comfortable reading engineering drawings and work instructions, and have hands-on experience using precision measurement and testing equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of components, subassemblies, and finished products.
- Set up and perform standard mechanical and electrical tests using appropriate inspection equipment and fixtures.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and quality documentation.
- Measure parts and products according to established specifications and document inspection results.
- Identify and document non-conforming material or products as required.
- Perform first-piece inspections and verify products meet applicable requirements.
- Use and maintain inspection records, logs, and other quality documentation.
- Enter and update inspection-related information within an ERP or computerized system.
- Perform electrical and mechanical testing using a variety of calibrated tools and equipment.
- Provide support to different areas of the Quality department based on workload and production needs.
- Assist with quality improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform additional quality-related duties as assigned.
Equipment & Tools
Experience with some of the following is preferred:
- Micrometers
- Calipers
- Dial indicators
- Optical comparators
- Plug and thread gauges
- Hardness testers
- Multimeters
- Electrical power supplies
- Other mechanical and electrical inspection equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Approximately 1–3 years of relevant quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience performing mechanical and/or electrical inspections.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Understanding of quality control practices and inspection procedures.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems is preferred.
- Soldering experience or knowledge is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document inspection results.

- Overtime may be available depending on production needs.
- This is a fully onsite position.
- Candidates will be considered based on their overall inspection experience and technical skill set.
Salary : $19 - $24
