Maintenance TechnicianContract to Perm2nd ShiftMaintenance Technician needed with excellent attention to detail to undertake the responsibility of preserving the condition, functionality, and safety of production equipment. Applicants must be self-sufficient in safely performing preventive and reactive maintenance activities on various equipment and machinery. Potential candidates will be expected to interface with multiple teams and individuals throughout the company to ensure adequate communication and progress with assigned tasks.Responsibilities:Perform and record scheduled maintenance activities on various production equipment in various environments as per documented procedures in a controlled databaseRead and interpret equipment manuals and technical documentation to perform service, troubleshooting and installation of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipmentInspect work areas and equipment to ensure compliance with company, state, and federal safety policies and regulationsProvide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production and facility equipmentPerform all activities in a safe manner, comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas5S and continuous improvement activities as part of a cross-functional teamRequirements:Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience with installation or maintenance of manufacturing equipmentControlled environment (clean room) experience preferredExceptional written and verbal communication abilitiesAbility to proficiently learn, understand, and troubleshoot equipment, solve problems, and recognize opportunities for process improvements Willingness to undertake various tasks and adapt to unexpected situations within dynamic company environment
