Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs across residential properties
- Assist in unit renovations (demo, junk removal, cabinet install, light plumbing/ electrical, fixtures, paint, etc)
- Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
- Participate in an on-call rotation (evenings every 3rd week)
- Unit turn-over: Thoroughly inspect vacated apartments, document necessary renovations, turn units over in a timely manner, and re-inspect completed units for the highest quality of work.
- Respond to resident requests in a timely manner, delivering excellent customer service
- Respond to overtime calls in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property maintenance or a related field
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Preference given to candidates with plumbing experience
- Basic knowledge of electrical and HVAC systems is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- property management or other building maintenance experience performing duties as a Service Manager preferred.
- 3-5 years of maintenance staff’s supervisory experience preferred.
- Able to effectively communicate (verbal and written)
- Valid State Issued Driver License and automobile insurance.
- General computer skills
