Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable Machine Operator I to support daily manufacturing and packaging operations. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone with manufacturing experience who is comfortable working in a structured production environment and following detailed procedures.

The Machine Operator will assist with operating and monitoring manufacturing equipment, preparing materials, labeling products, maintaining accurate production records, and keeping the work area clean and organized.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment according to established procedures and work instructions.
• Monitor equipment performance and report issues or abnormalities to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with preventative maintenance activities as directed.
• Support material handling and movement of production materials as needed.
• Load materials into equipment, including empty containers or components.
• Label and package finished products according to established requirements.
• Maintain proper identification and separation of materials, lots, and receiving numbers.
• Complete operational logs and other required production documentation accurately.
• Maintain accurate records of work-in-process, components, and production activities.
• Follow all applicable safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
• Work in accordance with established GMP and safety requirements.
• Inspect materials and finished products for quality throughout the production process.
• Report unresolved equipment, production, or quality issues to a supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area.
• Demonstrate steady progress in learning assigned equipment and processes.
• Work effectively as part of a small production team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in production, packaging, bottling, or similar manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn computer-based training and documentation systems.
• Ability to follow written procedures, work instructions, and verbal directions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods while performing production and packaging tasks.
• Ability to lift, move, and carry materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to perform repetitive production and packaging activities.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, gloves, and hair protection.
• Steel-toe or composite-toe footwear is required for the position.

Work Environment

• Clean, structured manufacturing environment.
• Work is performed in a controlled production area.
• No direct handling of hazardous chemicals or materials is required.
• Personal protective equipment is provided as required, with the exception of required safety footwear.
• Position does not require operation of a forklift or powered industrial equipment.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, with the potential for permanent employment following successful completion of the initial assignment and evaluation period.
