Warehouse Staffing Rep

Connect Staffing is hiring a bilingual English/Spanish Staffing Rep for a grocery delivery warehouse in La Mirada, CA. This is a direct hire position paying $22/hr with a standard schedule of 8am–5pm. In this role, you'll work at a desk inside the warehouse, assisting our temporary warehouse associates, tracking attendance, and managing candidates and rosters using streamlined software.

Pay: $22/hr

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm; availability to start as early as 5:30am for orientations

Location: La Mirada, CA

Work Environment: Warehouse (desk-based, onsite)

Responsibilities

• Manage applicant outreach, schedule candidates, and interview them efficiently using custom software.
• Coordinate same-day fill orders via custom company tools and quick email replies to the client at all times.
• Help candidates, some of whom may be very low tech, navigate the electronic onboarding process.
• Track entries in the client's daily attendance spreadsheet, follow up with our assigned employees, and report no-call/no-shows.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to newly placed associates who are underperforming on the client-posted KPI's.
• Coach warehouse associates on attendance expectations and help retain associates who are at-risk of assignment end.
• With the support of branch and corporate teammates, post job ads on Facebook, El Clasificado, Ziprecruiter, and other sources.
• Receive moderate to high volumes of applicant calls generated from postings and hold quick and focused discussions.
• Build and maintain relationships with client supervisors and HR staff to stay aligned on staffing needs and earn trust.

Minimum Requirements

• 1 year of experience in light industrial staffing, warehouse customer service, warehouse clerk, warehouse lead, or similar experience that would prepare you to be a staffing company representative in a warehouse setting.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish (bilingual required).

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• 1 year of onsite staffing or workforce coordination experience at a warehouse or distribution client site.
• Solid software skills for utilizing a custom-made candidate intake, screening, and roster-building tool.
• Experience building and maintaining ready-to-start candidate rosters.
• Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and compliance standards.
• Good general spelling, grammar, and email writing skills and/or experience using Grammarly.
• Strong customer service experience.
• Experience with social media recruiting, particularly Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok job ads.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness when dealing with large spreadsheets (Google Sheets).
• Experience with ATS systems such as TempWorks, Avionte, Bullhorn, iCIMS, or similar applicant tracking platforms.
