Connect Staffing is looking for an experienced Stationary Engineer/Maintenance Technician for a drilling equipment manufacturer company in North Houston, TX
Schedule: Monday - Saturday 5:00 am - 5:30 pm
Stationary Engineer/Maintenance Technician Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Stationary Engineer or Maintenance Technician.
- 1st or 2nd Class Boiler Operator License.
- Skilled in boiler operation, including monitoring, startups, shutdowns, and adjustments.
- Experience repairing CNC and manual machines, sandblaster equipment, and other hydraulic/electric machinery.
- Knowledge of repairing injection molding machines, manual lathes, and CNC equipment.
- Proficient in Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) safety procedures.
- Must possess a valid 1st or 2nd Class Boiler Operator License.
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment.
- Must pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
- Must supply own tools.
- Strong math, verbal/written communication, and organizational skills.
- Prior experience in roles such as Industrial Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, CNC Service Technician, Mechanical Maintenance Technician, Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician, or CNC Repair Technician is a plus.

Stationary Engineer/Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Monitor and operate boilers; prepare for annual inspections and water treatment testing.
- Perform boiler maintenance and replace parts as needed.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on CNC machines, mold injection machines, boilers, autoclaves, forklifts, and more.
- Perform preventive maintenance per schedule to ensure equipment uptime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.
- Use power tools, pipe threading machines, and other equipment properly.
- Read and interpret basic mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic schematics.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support maintenance operations.
