Connect Staffing is hiring for Sanitation Workers for a food production facility in Colton, CA. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $19.50/hr with evening and overnight shift options, Monday through Friday. In this role, you will disassemble and reassemble production line components, apply sanitation chemicals following SSOPs, and pressure wash machinery and surfaces to keep the facility food-safe and compliant. Both 2nd and 3rd shifts are available, making this a solid option for candidates with flexible availability.
Pay: $19.00 - $19.50/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2nd shift 2:00pm–10:30pm or 3rd shift 11:00pm–6:30am

Responsibilities
- Disassemble and reassemble production line components — including covers and piping — to prepare equipment for cleaning each shift.
- Apply lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures before cleaning energized or mechanical equipment.
- Mix and dilute sanitation chemicals to correct concentrations using titration kits or test strips.
- Operate a pan washer and clean utensils by hand when needed in the wash area.
- Follow top-down washing sequence and all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety requirements throughout the shift.
- Identify equipment requiring deep cleaning and report food safety or quality concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements
- 1 year of experience in kitchen cleaning or as a sanitor cleaning equipment in a food production facility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience operating a pan washer, pressure washer, or industrial hose and spray nozzle.
- Knowledge of top-down washing sequence for food safety compliance.
- Working knowledge of sanitation chemical usage and the pre-rinse, wash, rinse, and sanitize cleaning sequence.
- Experience working under SSOPs (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures) or HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) guidelines.
- Background in meat, bakery, dairy, beverage, or other food and beverage manufacturing environments.
