Schedule: Monday–Friday | Overtime & Saturdays may be required

Position Overview

Connect Staffing is seeking an experienced Reach Stacker Operator for a temp-to-perm opportunity at a large logistics and material handling facility in the Houston area. This role involves operating a reach stacker to move, stack, and position loaded and empty containers in yard and port-related environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a reach stacker to safely lift, move, stack, and place shipping containers

• Handle loaded and empty containers in yard, dock, and storage areas

• Stack containers accurately according to weight, size, and placement requirements

• Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report mechanical issues

• Communicate with yard personnel, spotters, and supervisors to ensure safe operations

• Follow all OSHA, port, and site safety regulations

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Assist with other yard or material handling tasks as needed

Requirements

• Proven experience operating a reach stacker

• Familiarity with container handling and yard operations

• Valid driver’s license required

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays

• Strong attention to safety and situational awareness

• Port or terminal experience preferred but not required
