Connect Staffing is hiring a Quality Control Technician for a manufacturing plant in Fontana, CA. This is a temp-to-hire morning position paying $20/hr. In this role, you will inspect materials against customer specifications, test material properties using laboratory equipment, and identify and segregate non-conforming materials on the production floor. This is a full-time schedule with consistent Monday–Friday hours starting early morning.

Responsibilities
- Calibrate and document the status of measuring devices on a regular basis.
- Conduct and document quality audits for production, inspection status, and proper procedure use.
- Notify operators when non-conforming material is produced and direct corrective action per applicable procedures.
- Document non-conformances and assist with MRB (Material Review Board) activities.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to verify material and product conformance.
- Operate a forklift to move and segregate materials within the facility as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- 1 year of experience in a manufacturing quality control or production environment.
- Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel for documentation and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience performing calibrations on measurement tools and devices.
- Familiarity with MRB (Material Review Board) processes and non-conformance documentation.
- Experience conducting internal quality audits using established procedures.
- Prior forklift operation experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) or other quality system frameworks such as ISO or IATF.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and use measuring devices.
