Job Overview
We are looking for detail-oriented and hardworking individuals to fill the position of Part-time Office Cleaner. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, and organized office environment for our clients. This role requires a high level of proficiency in general cleaning techniques and specific knowledge of office cleaning protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties in office spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and break areas
- Empty trash bins and replace liners
- Refill soap dispensers, paper towels, and other supplies as needed
- Dust and clean office furniture, including desks, chairs, filing cabinets, and shelves
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
- Vacuum carpets and rugs, and spot clean when necessary
- Sweep and mop hard floor surfaces
- Wipe down and sanitize frequently touched surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and elevator buttons
- Clean and organize conference rooms and meeting spaces
- Perform deep cleaning tasks on a rotating schedule
- Report any damages, malfunctions, or safety hazards to the supervisor
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition
- Follow proper safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Adhere to client-specific cleaning requirements and schedules
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in commercial or office cleaning is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in general cleaning techniques and knowledge of office cleaning protocols
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and carpet extractors
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling and safety procedures
